Models and Prices One size grip, does not fit all size hands For several years now I have been measuring hand sizes at gun shows and archery events. This has helped me to develop the right size grip for different hand sizes. To measure your hand size, start at the bottom of your palm and measure to the top of the middle finger. Your Physical height does not necessarily correspond to the size of your hand. I have worked very hard to make a variety of grip sizes to fit big hands, small hands, and everything in between. The vast majority of hand sizes are between 7 &3/8 to 8 &7/8 inches length. In most cases the width of the hand is proportional to the height. Here is a breakdown of the models, their steel thickness, O=overall length, BL=blade length and HS=hand size range. Click on Any Highlighted Models to see picture" THE COMPANION " 3/16th thick O= 8 1/2" BL=3 1/4 HS= 7 1/2 to 8 1/2" Wide belly, front & back guard system, offers full and solid feeling in hand for great control. Great overall for deer & bear. $325 to $345" SLIM " 3/16th thick O= 9" BL=3 7/8 HS= 7 1/2 to 8 1/2" Same as Companion but with narrower belly and longer blade giving a slightly lighter and loser feeling in the hand.Has finer point & longer blade for detail work. Also works very good as a fishing knife & camp meat knife.$325 to $345" THE GENTLEMAN TOO " 5/32nd thick O=8 3/8" BL=3 1/4 HS= 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 A lighter knife that has a more open feel while still offering a secure grip. Can be fitted to wider variety of hand sizes than listed, by varying the thickness of the scales. Great overall for deer & bear.$310 to $340" TOP DOG SKINNER (C ) or (G) " 3/16th thick O=9" BL=3 1/2 HS= 7 1/2" to 8 1/2" A dedicated skinner with a thicker tang for more weight in the hand. Yet has a little more point access than a typical skinner. Should prove helpful on large game animals such as Moose, Elk, Caribou, large Pigs & Deer. Should also work well as a camp meat and vegetable knife. Comes with a "Companion" Grip= C or a "Gentleman Too" Grip= G$360 to $380" TOP DOG SKINNER EX " 3/16th thick O=9 3/8" BL=3 1/2" HS= 8 1/2 to 9 1/2" Same blade design with and Extended "Companion" Grip=EX, that accommodates Large hands.$360 to $380" THE ELITIST " 3/16th thick O=8 1/4" BL= 3 1/2" HS= 7 1/2 to 8 3/8$310 to $330" TOUGH GUY " 3/16th thick O=7 1/8" BL=3" HS= N/A$300 to $340" MIGHTY MITE " 5/32th thick O=6 1/4" BL=2 3/4" HS= N/A$210 to $245 Three sizes with the same profile. An unusual double dip bowie blade that allows your fingers to rest in the curves and hold the knife in many different ways. Hand size is Not Applicable to "Tough Guy" & "Might Mite" as the knife is not usually held in a standard manner. These knives have been purchased by very large men, woman, and even pre-teens. because of their gripping features." THE BIG HAND" 3/16th thick O=9 3/8" BL=3 5/8 HS=8 1/2 to 9 1/2" Six feet, four inches tall or bigger, and can't find a knife that gives your hand a comfortable feel? This knife could be for you.
